My family has a long history with the Beachcombers - my Dad was in the original Beachcombers team that started in 1967, I played for them, and now my two kids play for the club.
We're proud of our association with the Beachcombers. I am also currently the coach of my son's team. hope westonVICE President & Girls teams
My name is Hope and I grew up in Dromana, attending the kindergarten, primary school and secondary college. I couldn't imagine a better place in the world to raise my children.
I was a netballer and never had an interest in basketball myself, but my children followed in their dads footsteps and now I really love the game and the friendships I've made because of it. Working with the other committee members I look forward to helping the club and it's players go from strength to strength. |

Most people know me as Ruby H's mum.
I have never played basketball, or really been into it until Ruby filled in one day. I'm now the coach of her team and have been blessed to be on the committee. I love the Dromana community and vibe. I'm really looking forward to the Beachcombers growing more in the community and getting more kids on teams enjoying sport. MandY SHEEAN
treasurerHi I’m Mandy, my husband and myself have lived on the Peninsula our entire lives and we love that we can now raise our 2 boys here.
I played basketball growing up and loved the game so I’m thrilled both my boys love the game too. My oldest dreams of playing for the NBL! TENILLE CRAIG

Get involved!
If you would like to get involved with helping to keep the club running, please let us know. We require ongoing assistance with running the club, and helping to train new teams coming through, particularly in the younger age groups.
If you think you are able to help us out, or that you have something to offer, please come forward. It may be as simple as assisting with fundraising, or helping new coaches get started, or helping to place players into teams.
Clubs like the Beachcombers rely on volunteers to keep the club going, so all help is appreciated.
